Unique and original design for this fine wool merina scarf in purple and pink with addition in the weft of wick merina wool to accentuate the curve that this technique produces in the fabric. The weft has been left unred in the fabric to create a series of side fringes in the scarf tones.
Soft, warm and comfortable, it is a cheerful and comfortable design, ideal to brighten any day of this coming autumn-winter.
The M-O technique used to knit this scarf, consists of alternatively weaving warp parts and leaving others unteaved, which will be knitted in the following series... It forms "nests" of tissue interspersed with warp threads that enclose the non-woven threads of the weft. A versatile and technical aesthetic that I really like to use, for its possibilities to create volumes and chromatics.
Merin wool has been used by man since ancient times, and today it is an unbeatable alternative to synthetic textiles. As a heat fiber, it creates a small air chamber between its fibers providing natural warmth and insulation from the outside cold. It has fire-retardant properties and absorbs some of the body's moisture to keep it dry and warm.
It is a unique piece with a beautiful design to use all autumn-winter and ensure your well-being.
