This fine 100% blue-grey merina and multi-tone warp shawl has been woven into a low-lizo manual loom.
The colors used are in warp: turquoise blue, blue-grey and purple, alternating; the plot is the same blue-grey merina wool with picture drawings in warp colors, spread throughout the fabric. Part of the wool of the drawing has been left stand out from the fabric, to create volume...
The set is a multicolored fabric if you look in detail and change its nuances depending on the incidence of light on it.
Because of its texture and composition, it can be used as foulard, scarf or scarf, and is for both men and women.
Merin wool is one of the textile fibers most valued today for the properties and characteristics it gathers: it is a fireproof fiber and insulating from outdoor temperatures. Its woven fibers create a small air chamber between them, allowing the body to conserve its temperature regardless of the outside temperature and humidity.
It is a natural animal fiber (prosthetic) and provides a unique feeling of well-being, warmth and comfort.
It is also a great absorbing moisture, so if sweating occurs, the wool allows to keep the body dry, and therefore warmer and protected.
By design, it is a unique piece; the design of each fabric is unique, giving each fabric its own character and a certain texture.
It is finished with a thin stick at the ends with fringes.
The seemingly irregular ear, is characteristic of manual weeding, and all the finishes are attached to the fabric without knots.
